We continue to fund equipment to aid the training of nurses at the Children’s Centre and this week the new Nursing Doll arrived to help staff train to do all procedures such as catheterising, injections, stoma care and enemas to name just a few.
We thank businesses such as Amwins Global Risks and Hooray Recruitment who have been volunteering at Belmont School and face painting in Pittville Park and the JV Consultancy Group held an extremely successful Golf Day bringing together over 50 local businesses to enjoy a day making a difference.
Emily’s Gift is looking for businesses, schools and shops to have a Gold/Yellow Day, dress their shop windows or light up their buildings to raise awareness of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and the appeal to fund a psychologist on the children’s cancer unit in Gloucestershire the EKU.
