Have you thought about leaving a gift to a charity in your Will? If yes, why not leave your gift to The Pied Piper Trust. In your will, you could leave a specific sum of money, a personal item of value, or a percentage of your Estate.
Big or small, it will make a difference
The Pied Piper Trust uses every penny donated to help disabled and sick children and their families. We do this by funding The Children’s Centre at Gloucestershire Hospital and other county hospitals. We support all of the SEND schools in Gloucestershire with equipment and resources. We send children with life-limiting illness and their families on a Wish Holiday to make lasting memories and we improve children’s experience at mental health facilities in the county.
Why help?
As well as making a difference to the charity, there are also other financial reasons why leaving a gift to a charity in your Will is a good idea. Legacies to charities are exempt from Inheritance Tax meaning that the gift would not be taxed and the charity would receive the full amount. If you decide to leave more than 10% of your total Estate to charity, the Inheritance Tax rate applied to your Estate would be reduced from 40% to 36% which could make a significant difference.
