Freemans Event Partners is celebrating a successful year of fundraising for local charity, the Pied Piper Appeal.

The Pied Piper Appeal has been supported by Freemans Event Partners for two decades and following last year’s annual Christmas raffle and year-round fundraising initiatives, the Gloucester-based events business has smashed its £30,000 target, raising over £41,000 for the leading children’s charity.

Throughout 2022 the Freemans Event Partners team raised more than £10,000 in a variety of ways; from bake sales, arts and crafts fetes and fancy dress, even auctioning tickets for the 2023 FA Cup Final.

The Christmas raffle, which ran throughout December, raised over £31,000 and offered some spectacular prizes including a trip to New York, £500 cash, gym memberships and Apple watches. Freemans Event Partners also joined forces with prestigious clients including Club Wembley, Delaware North and London Stadium to donate major event tickets as raffle prizes.  Winners will enjoy free admissions to events and experiences such as the BMW PGA Championship, the British Masters, the London 7’s at Twickenham Stadium, Harry Styles ‘Love On Tour 2023’ at Wembley, hospitality packages at Gloucester Rugby F.C. and a supercar driving experience at Silverstone Circuit.

The Pied Piper Appeal was founded by Peter Hickman to raise money to fund a new children’s hospital for the county.  Its ongoing mission is to make a difference to the lives of sick and disabled children in the Gloucestershire area.

“The A & E department has been revamped and extended at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and the funds Freemans Event Partners has raised will kit out the paediatric waiting area with toys, sit-on electronic game stations and whatever is in the plan for all children waiting for treatment. We look forward to putting the plaque on the wall for recognition of all that Freemans Event Partners has achieved to make a difference to sick and disabled children in Gloucestershire.
