World Book Day – Oscar Mallet reading at 4.30pm to Children’s Centre

Oscar Mallet is a Balcarras Academy Cheltenham schoolboy, aged 14.
He reads daily bedtime stories at 7pm on Zoom and this Thursday it is World Book Day.
His initiative has caught the public attention and he has appeared on Points West and ITV News, and is taking part in the Cheltenham Festival day.

We caught up with his Mum and asked if Oscar would kindly read on World Book Day, to the children, siblings and families in the Children’s Centre at Gloucestershire Royal at 4.30pm for half an hour over Zoom.

It’s a Roald Dahl story and very entertaining — Esio Trot

I am sure you will love to tune in and listen.
