What a fantastic night at the Soglos Gloucestershire Business Awards.
We are extremely proud to have won the Charity of the Year award following our most successful year of fundraising which was also our 30th year.
Peter Hickman, now in his nineties, took on the challenge of fundraising for a new children’s hospital for the county which opened in 2004.
The charity then supported special schools (SEND) of which there are now 14 in Gloucestershire that need sensory rooms, play areas and vehicles.
Pied Piper supports children’s mental health provisions, Wish holidays for children with life-limiting illnesses with their families; also equipment and nurses training bursaries in the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital Children’s Centre.
We couldn’t do this without amazing support from the public & local businesses as well as dedicated Trustees and volunteers.
This award goes to everyone involved at Pied Piper.
