St Peter’s Church, Gloucester, once again played host to a full congregation celebrating Christmas in music and song in aid of the Pied Piper Appeal. A fitting and festive end to the charity’s 25th year.

The Reverend Geoff Crago was the Master of Ceremonies and welcomed musical performances from St Peter’s Primary Catholic School choir, Stagecoach Performing Arts, superb soloist Holly Williams, Instruments of Praise Gospel Group and the Tewkesbury Town Band.

Monsignor Liam Slattery delivered the Address and Blessing and the closing words of thanks to mark a year of celebration for Pied Piper was heartwarmingly given by Nick Broady, chairman. Gloucester Rugby winger and charity vice patron read The Magic of Christmas poem.

The evening raised over £1000 and has become a firm favourite in the festive diary for supporters, volunteers and Friends.
