Join us this year to help make a difference for sick children in the County.
Loads of schools have already joined in by doing all sorts of activities. How about a sponsored spellathon or non-uniform day? Our FUNraising pack has got loads of great ideas on how to raise money.
It'll also tell you how to organise an event, how to get your friends involved and how to get your school in the newspaper or on the radio.
Once you've finished your event, send us your photos and we'll put them on this page. So make sure you come back and visit us soon.

Your teacher can arrange for a member of The Pied Piper Team to visit your school to explain about the new Children's Centre at Gloucestershire Royal Hospial and show you all examples of the child friendly medical equipment which the nurses and doctors use for sick children in hospital to help them get better faster and makes them happy.

The Pied Piper Appeal has recently been in partnership with three local secondary schools running 11 business ventures as part of the Key Stage 4 PSHE and Citizenship curriculum. The students presented their business plans to representatives from the charity and Barclays Bank who sponsored the initiative. Once approved they were offered appropriate funding with profits being shared by the schools and The Pied Piper Appeal.
The schemes have proved beneficial to all concerned. It is a great way for The Pied Piper to keep its finger on the pulse of the interests of young people and at the same time, the students can gain an understanding of how a business operates and how the charity operates as a not-for-profit organisation.
Pied Piper Primary school visits reduce hospital fearsOver a year ago The Pied Piper Appeal began a free, school outreach service, travelling to primary schools across the County to help them find out just what a hospital visit is like and to help allay their worries and fears about hospital treatment.
The Pied Piper has visited over 60 primary schools now across the County from small village schools to larger primaries in towns and cities. Sometimes talking to one class or sometimes the whole school in assembly.
The charity explains about some of the things the children may not be familiar with when they come into hospital. Above all the message is that everyone in hospital is there to help them.
Many of the children have really enjoyed the visit and in appreciation have arranged a fundraising event for resulting in over £12,000 for the Appeal so far.
